Phenomenal! Did not expect this absolutely beautiful and delicious plate of the best handmade blue corn tortillas stuffed with crispy fried crab and mind-blowing delicious toppings and sides—Do not pass this up! Recommend blue corn crispy crab tacos 10/10! The big strong house margaritas are also a bonus! Shady patio, dog-friendly, and kind and quick wait staff! We’ll be back!

Kind, friendly, fast, high quality; hot queso dip, recommend you request the hotter salsa, and the mole was deliciously mild, not too sweet so you could taste the chicken. Made fresh kiffee upon request, even left a hot pitcher on the table, and plenty of cream. The enchiladas were fantastic, chunks of guac were big enough to keep breaking the chips so it could have been smashed up more but was fresh and delicious; also the salmon tacos were incredible! Not personally a lover of salmon unless it's smoked on a cedar plank but this was moist and nicely seasoned. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

I have been coming to Taos at least 55 times a year. How have I missed this hidden gem for so long? The food is so amazingly good, the staff is amazing, and I love the atmosphere. Far and away my new favorite place in the Taos area. Simply amazing!

I was visiting Taos and decided to stop by this restaurant for dinner. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. We didn’t have a reservation, and even though it was in the evening, we got seated right away, which was nice. I ordered the chicken quesadillas, and they were really tasty. The chicken was juicy, and there was a good amount of it inside the quesadilla, not just a few pieces. It came with rice, guacamole, and sour cream on the side, and all of it went together really well. Everything tasted fresh, and you could tell the ingredients were good quality. The only downside was the portion size. Compared to other Tex-Mex spots I’ve been to, it felt a little small. If I had been super hungry, I probably wouldn’t have been full just from that one dish. Also, they don’t serve free chips, which was kind of a letdown since I’m used to getting chips and salsa at places like this. The restaurant was a bit busy but service was good, it felt a bit long since we get the menu and order the food but we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food. The stuff was friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and has a nice vibe inside. I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area, especially if you’re craving some tex mex. I’d go back for sure to try more of their menu.

I go to La Terraza for variety. The menu has really good Mexican dishes AND it has Italian dishes. My last visit was to satisfy a craving for Italian. Starting with the chicken peccata special was an excellent recommendation by Ulisis. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the specials board, so when the linguini and chicken breast was served on a bed of spinach I had to send it back. (I can't eat spinach due to gout, which really kills me because it was my favorite vegetable for decades. And it looked beautiful.) The kitchen promptly took away the spinach and replated the rest of the dish so it looked like it was meant to be served that way. The pasta was cooked al dented, the chicken was moist and the sauce was delicious, with just a little bite of lemon. For dessert, I had the flan. I know, I'm mixing cuisines by not getting the cheesecake but I love custard in all its forms. This one was pretty special and I'm glad I got dessert.

The restaurant was very inviting, including pictures of historical Mexican figures on the walls and artwork depicting New Mexico’s heritage. The service was prompt and friendly and food fresh and delicious. Very glad I stopped in here on my final day in Taos.

Amazing experience! Upon walking in, we were greeted by Ulysses and he gave us his recommendations! Latasha was our server and did an amazing job! We had the alambres, and the chipotle shrimp enchiladas. We had the tres leches for dessert. Make sure you stop here!

This little place punches way above its weight class in the food department, with great flavors and excellent sauces. Getting a crab enchilada in Taos may seem like ordering lobster on the moon, but they do it anyway, and it’s good. It’s a friendly place and among the very best on this fast foodie strip on the south side of town. Just north of Walmart! Go there.
